The museum also features an exhibition hall, which hosts temporary exhibitions of works by artists, designers, and photographers.
The leading part of the museum’s collection is its archaeological holdings, consisting of 2,465 items. These materials have been obtained both случайურად and through archaeological excavations, and date from the 4th millennium BC to the 16th century.
The museum’s collections also preserve 19th–20th century ethnographic items, including everyday objects made of copper and silver, as well as household items such as a wine press, wooden agricultural tools, carpets, traditional storage vessels, cradles, and clothing.
The collection of weaponry includes swords, daggers, and pistols dating from the 18th–19th centuries.
The museum holds a photographic archive of 1,754 items, reflecting life in Lagodekhi during the 20th century.
In addition, the museum preserves copper and silver coins, paper money, and various currency units dating from the 12th to the 20th centuries, totaling 386 items.
Overall, the museum houses 3,870 exhibits.
Since 2016, the Lagodekhi Municipality Museum has maintained close cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, expressed through joint archaeological expeditions conducted within the municipality.
