Lomisi Monastery sits high in the mountains between the Aragvi and Ksani valleys. The historic church is dedicated to St. George and is associated with centuries-old traditions and local legends.
The monastery can be reached by a mountain hiking route from Kvemo Mleta. For experienced winter travellers, the surrounding area also offers a ski-touring route, but this is suitable only for experienced off-piste skiers with a qualified guide and appropriate avalanche equipment.
