Sno Giant Stone Heads

Sno is a small village near Stepantsminda, but its unusual stone sculptures make it one of the area’s most memorable stops. Huge faces carved from local stone stand scattered across the landscape, creating a fascinating contrast with the ancient-looking Caucasus surroundings.

The sculptures were created by Georgian artist Merab Piranishvili, who transformed massive blocks of stone into monumental human faces.

Fun Fact: The sculptures look centuries old, but they are actually a contemporary art project.
