Kazbegi National Park

Kazbegi National Park is one of Georgia's most breathtaking protected areas, stretching across the Greater Caucasus Mountains at elevations starting from around 1,400 meters above sea level. The park is a paradise for hikers, nature lovers, photographers, and adventure seekers.

Its diverse landscapes include alpine meadows, glaciers, volcanic rock formations, deep gorges, mineral springs, and crystal-clear rivers. Some of the park's most popular destinations are Truso Gorge, known for its colorful travertine formations and mineral lakes; Dariali Gorge, famous for the picturesque Gveleti Waterfall and the heart-shaped "Lake of Love"; and Khdi Gorge, home to impressive waterfalls and rugged mountain peaks that attract experienced climbers.

Kazbegi National Park protects some of the highest peaks in the Caucasus, including the area surrounding the iconic Mount Kazbek (5,054 m). The park is also home to unique alpine plants, wild goats, chamois, golden eagles, and rare Caucasian wildlife, making it one of Georgia's richest biodiversity hotspots.
