Abudelauri Lakes

The Abudelauri Lakes are among the most visually unusual natural attractions in the region. The group includes Green, Blue and White lakes, scattered among the high mountains near the Chaukhi Massif.

The Green and Blue lakes lie relatively close together, while the White Lake sits higher, at more than 2,800 metres, beneath the Chaukhi Glacier. Reaching the White Lake requires a more demanding walk across rocky, glacial terrain.

The classic route begins near Roshka, where the paved road ends and the hiking trail begins. More adventurous travellers can reach the lakes from Juta on a multi-day cross-region hike.
