As a company, we consider it important to conduct business in a socially responsible manner.

We hold the 'Green Key' Gold level certification!

Green Key is a well-known international certification mark for sustainable businesses. This certification shows that we, as a hotel and restaurant, do everything we can to minimize the impact of our business on nature and the environment. In doing so, we go just a step further than standard laws and regulations require.

The certificate has three levels in the Netherlands: bronze, silver, and gold. The more environmental measures we have implemented, the higher the 'eco-friendly' level. A condition of the Green Key is that the quality and comfort of the guest remain guaranteed at all times.

We use water sparingly, but in such a way that you can still enjoy a lovely, warm shower after a long day. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products, but this does not make the premises any less clean. During your stay, you can read a good book in the evening under an atmospheric energy-saving lamp. You will not easily get too hot or too cold; we ensure that the heating or air conditioning switches on or off at the right times. All of this enhances not only your sense of comfort but also the status of nature and the environment!

We also make use of energy-efficient lighting as much as possible. For instance, we have LED lighting almost everywhere. Only the chandeliers still contain old-fashioned halogen bulbs. This is because no alternative with the same appearance is available yet. As soon as a suitable alternative becomes available, we will use it as quickly as possible.
